PandaDrop Privacy Policy
DRAFT — Complete the developer identity, contact details, advertising provider disclosures, and implementation checks before public use. Last updated: 30 October 2026.
1. Who operates PandaDrop
PandaDrop is operated by [DEVELOPER / LEGAL COMPANY NAME], at [BUSINESS CONTACT ADDRESS, IF APPLICABLE]. Privacy questions can be sent to [SUPPORT / PRIVACY EMAIL]. This policy describes the intended Android app for users aged 13 and older.
2. Hydration records on your device
PandaDrop stores water intake entries, daily goals, app preferences, and panda progress locally on your device. No PandaDrop account is required, and we do not operate a cloud-sync service for these records. Advertising and purchase services are separate from local record storage, as explained below. We do not intentionally send your hydration entries to advertising providers.
3. Advertising
The app includes advertisements. Advertising provider: [INSERT PROVIDER AND PRIVACY POLICY LINK]. Depending on the SDK and its configuration, the provider may process IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, ad impressions and clicks, approximate location inferred from IP, and diagnostic information to deliver ads, prevent fraud, measure performance, and, where permitted and consented to, personalize advertising. Final categories, purposes, recipients, retention, and international transfer disclosures must be verified against the selected SDK before launch. Non-personalized ads may still involve data processing. Where required, the app must request consent before relevant processing and offer a way to revisit choices. Do not treat local hydration storage as a claim that the whole app collects no data.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Optional purchases and subscriptions are processed through Google Play. Google handles payment information under its own terms and privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. PandaDrop may process purchase tokens, product identifiers, purchase status, and subscription entitlements to unlock features or restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card details. [CONFIRM WHETHER PURCHASE VALIDATION USES A SERVER OR OTHER PROVIDER; IDENTIFY IT AND ITS PROCESSING IF SO.] Subscription prices, renewal terms, and available benefits are displayed before purchase. Manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play. Cancellation does not itself delete app data; uninstalling does not cancel a subscription.
5. Permissions and device features
[CONFIRM FINAL PERMISSION LIST.] If reminders are implemented, notifications require permission where Android requires it and can be disabled in device settings. Internet access may be used for ads and billing. This draft does not assume access to contacts, precise location, Health Connect, or fitness sensors. Update this section if those features are added.
6. Retention, deletion, and backups
Local records remain until removed through implemented app controls, Android's clear-app-storage function, or uninstallation. Your device or operating-system backup settings may preserve app data unless Android backup is disabled for this app; [CONFIRM BACKUP CONFIGURATION]. Clearing or uninstalling the app may not remove system backups. Advertising and payment providers retain their own records under their policies and legal obligations. [INSERT VERIFIED PROVIDER RETENTION PERIODS OR CRITERIA AND RIGHTS CONTACTS.] Clearing local records does not erase Google Play transaction history.
7. Sharing and security
We do not operate a server for your hydration history. Third-party advertising and payment processing may involve disclosure to their service providers, fraud-prevention partners, and authorities where required by law. [VERIFY ALL RECIPIENT CATEGORIES AND ANY SALE / SHARING CHARACTERIZATION UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.] Device storage and access controls help protect local information, but no system is completely secure. Protect your device with a screen lock. Local storage alone is not a promise of encryption.
8. Your choices and rights
You can clear local app storage through Android settings and control notifications through system settings. Use implemented in-app consent controls and Android advertising privacy settings for applicable advertising choices; these may not stop all advertising or processing. You may have rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, portability, restriction, or consent withdrawal depending on your location. Contact [PRIVACY EMAIL] to ask about our processing. For data controlled by Google or the advertising provider, contact that provider directly. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Teens and children
PandaDrop is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. [CONFIRM THE FINAL AUDIENCE AND IMPLEMENT AGE-APPROPRIATE ADVERTISING AND CONSENT CONTROLS.] Being 13 or older does not automatically permit personalized advertising or independent consent in every country. We do not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has supplied information to us, contact [PRIVACY EMAIL]. Local records can be removed using Android storage controls.
10. International processing
Advertising and payment providers may process information outside your country. [IDENTIFY VERIFIED COUNTRIES / RECIPIENTS AND APPLICABLE TRANSFER SAFEGUARDS.] Local hydration records remain on the device subject to its backup configuration.
11. General wellness
PandaDrop supports hydration habits. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition and is not a medical device. Personal fluid needs vary. Follow professional guidance, particularly if you have a prescribed fluid restriction.
12. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when practices change, revise the date, and provide additional notice or consent where required. Contact: [DEVELOPER NAME], [PRIVACY EMAIL].
